For the first time in Bekaa, Michel Daher Social Foundation, in collaboration with Dr. Elie Najjar, successfully hosted a pioneering conference entitled: “AI and Machine Learning in Healthcare Sectors”.
Held at the foundation’s premises in Ferzol, the conference brought together over 75 participants from across Lebanon, marking a significant milestone in advancing healthcare innovation and technology.
Demonstrating its commitment to making opportunities accessible to all, the Foundation provided free transportation from key hubs outside Zahle. This effort enabled doctors, med students, and healthcare providers from all over the country to join the event.
Throughout the conference, esteemed speakers delivered expert insights on a range of topics, including AI’s transformative role in diagnostic imaging, personalized medicine, surgical innovation, and the evolving responsibilities of physicians in the era of artificial intelligence.
In addition to keynote presentations, the conference featured the submission and evaluation of ten research abstracts related to AI applications in healthcare. The top three submissions were awarded monetary prizes in recognition of their excellence.
This landmark event not only showcased AI advancements but also underscored the Bekaa region’s emerging role as a center for medical innovation and professional collaboration.
