Economic Development & Livelihoods

From Skills Development to Sustainable Economic Participation

MDSF aims to strengthen economic resilience in the Bekaa by equipping youth, women, entrepreneurs, and small businesses with the skills, opportunities, and support needed to access sustainable livelihoods and contribute to local economic growth. Through a holistic approach combining workforce development, entrepreneurship support, employability services, and market integration, we help individuals transition from learning to earning and from ideas to sustainable businesses.

By delivering technical and professional training, employability programs, and career development initiatives, MDSF equips youth and women with market-relevant skills demanded by the labour market, enabling them to access meaningful employment opportunities and strengthen their long-term economic resilience.

Through entrepreneurship and MSME support, we empower aspiring entrepreneurs and local businesses to strengthen production systems, improve competitiveness, access markets, and create sustainable economic opportunities within their communities.

Additionally, internships, mentorship, career guidance, and workforce integration initiatives support individuals in confidently transitioning into the labour market, advancing their careers, and building pathways toward sustainable livelihoods and local economic development.

Together, these initiatives contribute to building stronger local economies, resilient communities, and sustainable pathways toward inclusive growth across the Bekaa region.
