AntaMe

In 2021, the Michel Daher Foundation introduced the AntaMe program with the goal of nurturing a generation deeply rooted in values and civic education, fostering responsible citizens. This initiative focused on children and youth, aiming to strengthen their sense of belonging, enhance resilience, and facilitate their integration into society, especially following extended periods of lockdowns and online learning.

The AntaMe program was a comprehensive initiative offering a diverse array of workshops and activities. Through dynamic storytelling sessions and interactive workshops, AntaMe covered a wide range of topics, including Child Rights, Various Forms of Abuse, Bullying, Drug Addiction and Suicide Prevention, Communication Skills, Teamwork, Citizenship, Civic Education, Life Etiquette, and Volunteering.

The program had already achieved significant results:

• Benefited over 3,600 children and youth
• Implemented in 13 villages in Central Bekaa
• Conducted 70+ workshops

The AntaMe program comprised three distinct components:

• Child Protection: Upholding the rights of children to survive and grow, promoting non-discrimination, ensuring their right to participate, and prioritizing their best interests.
• Life Skills: Equipping participants with essential life skills such as time management, volunteering, team building, citizenship and civics, proper etiquette, and effective communication.
• Awareness and Prevention: Addressing anti-bullying measures and promoting awareness.

Through these collective endeavors, AntaMe contributed to shaping a socially conscious and empowered generation.
