On July 11, 2024, Michel Daher Foundation launched a new project titled “Water for the Land of Water,” in collaboration with the Bekaa Water Establishment under the “Shabaka 2” project, supported by Agence Française de Développement (AFD) and the Centre de Crise et De Soutien, and implemented by the French public agency for international technical cooperation, Expertise France.
This one-year program aims to benefit more than 12,137 people by improving the quality and quantity of water services in Jdita and its surrounding areas. Additionally, it includes social activities and awareness sessions to emphasize the importance of water. The kick-off meeting included a comprehensive presentation by the foundation’s team, outlining the project’s objectives and components. Attendees were impressed by the insightful details and expressed eagerness to learn more about this valuable initiative.
