In the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, environmental education became a need in Bekaa communities. ‘Faker Bi2iyan’ seized this moment as an opportunity to actively reshape Lebanon’s environmental landscape and birthed “The Eco-Friendly Hero” program.

The Eco-Friendly Hero isn’t just a program; it’s a movement. Tailored for school environments and recreational settings, its primary aim is to instill genuine environmental ethics in children and youth. Going beyond the realm of theoretical knowledge, we aspire to nurture participants to embrace a value system that shapes their daily choices, actions, and broader life perspectives.

Empowering Youth

Youth are the heartbeat of MDF’s development strategy and the driving force behind Faker Bi2iyan’s vision. Our youth-centric programs are designed to foster a deep connection with nature — from clean-up campaigns and hiking adventures to outdoor environmental rallies and sorting campaigns. Collaborating with a diverse community of youth-centric entities, including scouts, environmental forums, NGOs, clubs, and municipalities, ensures the far-reaching impact of our programs.
